About this tool

Kardion Analytics is a private reporting tool operated by Kardion Gaming to analyse its own YouTube channel. It is not offered for public registration.

Information accessed

With the channel owner's authorisation, the tool uses YouTube API Services to read channel identifiers, video titles, publication dates, durations and performance statistics. These include views, engaged views, watch time, average viewing duration, likes, comment counts, shares and subscriber changes.

The tool does not collect Google passwords or individual viewers' identities. Its permissions are read-only and do not allow it to upload, change or delete YouTube videos.

How information is used

Information is used to understand content performance and inform Kardion Gaming's editorial decisions. It is not sold or used for advertising targeting.

Kardion Analytics' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and service providers

The reporting workflow runs through GitHub Actions in a private repository. Authorisation credentials are held in GitHub Actions secrets and in a protected local file on the operator's computer.

Downloadable report files expire from GitHub Actions after 14 days. Workflow summaries follow the repository's separate retention settings. Downloaded copies remain under the operator's control until deleted.

The operator may provide selected performance reports to OpenAI's ChatGPT to assist with analysis. Authorisation credentials are not included in these reports.

Google, GitHub and, where used, OpenAI process information as required to provide their respective services.

Revoking access and deleting information

The channel owner can revoke the tool's Google access at Google Account permissions.

Revoking access prevents further authorised collection but does not automatically erase existing reports. The operator can delete stored credentials, workflow reports and local copies. Copies shared with ChatGPT must also be deleted separately.

This tool uses YouTube API Services. Google's Privacy Policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Use of the tool is also subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.

This policy will be updated if the tool's data access, use or storage practices change.
